Changing Seasons
Hi all… The weather’s growing colder now, it’s the end of October, the leaves are changing… all this can only mean one thing: time to put up the Christmas tree. I know, I know, it’s early… but like I told my husband (on the phone at the time – out of town – after my 6-year-old spilled the beans to him about us putting up the tree), and said husband voiced mild objection to said Christmas tree going up … my only explanation was “… that’s what we do!” Indeed, our friends have learned that come every Halloween, there’s a good chance to see a mixture of Halloween/Thanksgiving/Christmas decorations at our house.
That’s what we do!
On to other things… yesterday, I received this wonderful email from my friend, Kelli, that
(with her permission – thank you Kelli!) I wanted to share:
“A couple of years ago, someone gave me one of those desk “page-a-day” calendars without a year – meaning you can use them every year. This is an angel one and – for every day – there is a quote having to do with angels. The one I saw the other day just gave me a shiver, because I immediately thought of you and your friendship with Vivian. I don’t know exactly why, but I just got the most intense feeling that it spoke
to your friendship with her and hers with you. It was quite simply:
“True friendship is a knot that angel hands have tied.”
Just wanted to share that. Hope you are having a great day! Kelli”
….
how beautiful and sweet! I loved that! Thank you Kelli. Not a day goes by that I don’t think about Vivian and miss her. Ann
